Collaborative District Leadership

Facilitating Change Management at the District Level

As K-12 school districts look to tackle the rigors of new construction planning, student health and safety concerns, and environmental conservation, Facilities Directors all the way to District Superintendents are met with the challenge of creating an environment of continual learning for an already tech-savvy student.

This “Think Tank” forum is an invitation-only, exclusive opportunity for district leaders. As districts strive to achieve effective departmental collaboration, it is imperative that we look to the innovators, evangelists and thought leaders who can share industry best practices and models of excellence.

The School Planning & Facilities Congress' unique blend of Strategy Sessions, Keynote Panels, Collaborative Roundtables, and Private Business Meetings are excellent ways to share honest feedback, address critical challenges and take away pragmatic solutions that can be implemented upon return to your district.

We understand that every conversation, strategic discussion and implementation should culminate in an attainable vision for student achievement. We strive to work with and listen to our district leaders and partners to make that vision a reality.

K-12 school administrators need to ensure that they are optimizing their facilities to maximize the student learning experience.  As projects are set in motion from new construction to retro-fits, district leaders must shift priorities to reflect changes in areas such as school safety, classroom design, and energy consumption management.  The “traditional classroom,” as a result, is becoming outdated when compared with flexible and blended learning environments.  RTM is committed to partnering with school districts that are leading the way in these important initiatives, and the RTM School Planning & Facilities Congress is a unique platform that allows administrators to collaborate and share best practices.

The RTM K-12 National Advisory Board gathers annually to collaborate and provide our team with direction and feedback to ensure that our work within the K-12 community is timely, accurate and impactful. The Board is comprised of industry thought leaders and consultants that are true innovators driving change in the K-12 sector. If you are interested in getting involved, please email for more information – we would love to hear from you!
