Dr. Anthony Price serves as the Deputy Superintendent of Goose Creek CISD where he assists the Superintendent in the task of providing district leadership while administering the facilities management and support services procedures to the district in an efficient and effective manner that ensures the district meets all local, state, and federal guidelines. Dr. Price oversees the daily operation of the transportation, police and security, operations, grounds, maintenance, human resources, business/finance, and transportation departments.

Dr. Price was Superintendent of Rosebud-Lott ISD, from 2008 to 2015. During his tenure, Rosebud-Lott moved from a district with some low-performing campuses to one with all campuses meeting standards in all areas. Dr. Price initiated a program called “80 Percent Or Better,” which required students and faculty to perform at high levels of achievement. Rosebud-Lott also became one of the leading technology equipped districts in the State of Texas during Dr. Price’s tenure. In a time of major budget cuts, Dr. Price was instrumental in leading his district in securing federal funds and grants of more than $6 million.

Prior to Rosebud-Lott ISD, Dr. Price was an administrator with Everman ISD for four years. In this role, he was responsible for positive campus turnaround at the junior high level. He has also served as an administrator with both Arlington and Ft. Worth ISDs. He began his career in education 25 years ago as a math teacher with Ft. Worth ISD.

Dr. Price earned a degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in electronic engineering and worked as a biomedical and aerospace engineer before joining the ranks of education. He received his Master’s degree from Texas Women’s University and his Ph.D. from Walden University.
