DIRECTOR OF INFRASTRUCTURE
SPRING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT (CT)
Frederick Brenz is the Spring Independent School District’s Director of Infrastructure . An experienced leader with more than 30 years of IT experience. Fred manages the operational and ongoing infrastructure presence for a large school district located in Houston, Texas. His team is responsible for all things data, voice and video related. If it contains a byte of information to/from the internet, he takes a look at it to make sure everything is safe for the children and administrators on his network.
His lengthy career includes many highlights and accomplishments while leading various project management teams within the area of IT infrastructure, curriculum development, helpdesk management, remote video conferencing/mobility strategies and wireless infrastructure technologies. He has served as a communications and security analyst for the Republican National Convention. He has played instrumental roles in the design, implementation and ongoing operation of K-12 educational infrastructure systems for over 250,000 students. His career spans various industries to include oil/gas, healthcare, government, safety and media.
Freds’ professional experience in creating 21stcentury learning environments supports Spring ISD efforts to ensure world-class curriculum and collaboration systems for the students, instructors, parents, administrators and community leaders.
